A new, forced rhythm to the week

Lately, with multiple Church programs, this blog, and a day job during the week, I’ve been forced more than usual to set aside Friday night through Sunday for my writing (at the moment, revising book two of my trilogy), without much writing at all the rest of the week.

In one way that’s not a problem. I’m grateful to have a day job and blessed to be able to help out so much at my local parish in the ways that I am doing.

But I do tend to thrive with routine and regularity, and my this new routine is JUST irregular enough that it throws me off.

I don’t know if it’s just me being burned or lazy, or what, but come the weekends, I just don’t seem to be able to really get into my fiction lately. Usually I love revising.

It’s been hard to buckle down and get it down. Still, I’m doing just that, and I think book two will be in great shape for my editor come Dec 1!
