YEARS after taking down my trilogy to completely re-edit (professionally) and re-release in comprehensive second edition installments, my first royalties on the second edition of “The Crimson League: The Fight for Hope” just paid out.
This comes a day after someone commented on Facebook that my book had them “enthralled,” and it will “live rent-free in my head forever.”
It just feels like . . . Honestly, it feels like I’m BACK. And I’m so excited.
I have plans for another promotion for my birthday next month.
I’m also hoping to get book two, “The Magic Council: The Fight for Home” back from beta readers next month.
Facebook has monetized my professional page and I’m making SOMETHING from that, which is amazing. Every little bit helps! I’m certainly not going to turn it down or sneeze at it.
I have plans to reach out to local book stores, and I still need to act on those, but things are going well!
I’m taking things one day at a time, celebrating small (and not so small) wins as they come, and gearing up to make a tear of an edit once “The Magic Council” is back in my hands!
It’s my favorite of all 3 books in my trilogy, I think.
