September will mark a year from meeting my Church tribe–a beautiful group of ladies who formed my third small group at an adult education course at my Church parish that I help to run twice a year.
I’ve been part of a number of small groups at this course, called Alpha–it’s run in a lot of different places. And every single one, it’s been amazing to see God at work.
Each group is different. God knows what each group needs and why He brought it together, and God works in and through each group in different ways. Each group I’ve been part of has been AMAZING.
The way God worked through one particular group of mine, and continues to work through it, is something special. Sometimes God’s ways are somewhat hidden, but they weren’t here.
It was so clear why God brought us all together, almost from week one. We continue to support, strengthen, and encourage one another. We continue to offer reminders of what is truly most important, where our hearts should lie.
We send each other prayer requests. We are journeying together to the heavenly kingdom.
It is true that “Where two or three are gathered together in my name, there am I in the midst of them.” I see Jesus’s presence and love so clearly when I am with these women, or with anyone from a past Alpha small group.
So today, I am grateful for every guest and table member I have met and gotten to know through the Alpha course. I have kept in touch with many more than just this group I’m spotlighting here, and I love them all. I could have spotlighted any group I’ve had. Each table group and each individual has blessed me in a special way.
