Launch day is basically a week away for my YA fantasy sword and sorcery epic adventure, and I wanted to take stock here and make a log of all the crazy thoughts running in and out of my mind . . .

• I’m so excited!!!!!
• I’m so nervous. What if it totally bombs. I’ve put so much time, not to mention money, into this. It is literally a decade in the making.
• I want to eat that last piece of homemade apple pie in the freezer. But I should save it to celebrate launch day.
• I’m TIRED. Between my day job and trying to promote, I feel like I’m working two jobs.
• I’m glad I went indie. It was the right decision for me. I’m 100% sure of that. For a number of reasons.
• I’m so blessed! And I can trust God to make sure he uses my novel to reach the people He means it to reach.
• I just want launch day to get here!
• LIVE IN THE PRESENT MOMENT. Live and walk with Jesus here and now. This week is precious time to learn and grow with him, as is every single day. DO NOT WASTE THAT.
• Editorial reviews are looking GREAT, but did I get enough? I didn’t get enough. Oh, boy . . .
• I’m still so relieved the paperback proof copy I got looks so fantastic. I’m super happy with it and there are no glitches or mess ups that I have seen.
• I hope I am pricing these correctly. I want to price fairly but also have royalties to a degree.
• I have a week off work lined up starting launch day. I think I should have started the PTO before launch day.
• I definitely need more reviews! If you run a review blog and would like a reader copy to review (it wouldn’t be an advance review at this point, but that would still be amazing) please let me know!

Anyways, that’s what’s going through my head right about now! It’s a circus, but I wouldn’t trade it for the world.
