THE MAGIC COUNCIL: THE FIGHT FOR HOME

Book two of the Herezoth Trilogy, “The Magic Council: The Fight for Home” is probably my favorite of the series, though I love them all.

In fact, I wasn’t planning to write a series when I started book one back in 2006. I didn’t know what I would do with the story or where it might take me. But when I finished the first draft of “The Crimson League,” it hit me that there is a sweet toddler there whom I unintentionally set up to have one heck of a coming of age story later on.

I had to know how that would go. So I wrote it. And I met Vane and August. I love them separately, and I adore them together. The way they help each other grow and develop, journey together, and push each other to be who they should be is inspiring and lovely. It’s what I love most about their story.
