COVER REVEAL!!! Book THREE of the Herezoth Trilogy is coming your way Nov. 1!

I’m SOOO excited to reveal the cover and a draft of the back cover for book three of the Herezoth Trilogy, coming November 1, 2024.

This means . . . and I’m so excited about it . . . the whole trilogy will be available in time for the Christmas season. The whole trilogy! The entire series, or just book one, would make a fabulous Christmas gift for the reader in your life, 13 years and older. (Maybe a smidge older for book three. While there is no explicit sexual content, sexual violence is mentioned, and its aftermath is felt. There is also some magical violence–not much more intense than in book one, but a little bit more.)

The gang’s back together in book three, bolstered by a second generation coming of age ten years after the events of The Magic Council: The Fight for Home. And I think the cover is my favorite yet!

For ten years after Vane Unsten joined Herezoth’s royal court, he and the kingdom have known peace. Little does he know everything is about to change.

A member of Vane’s Magic Council disappears with no explanation. Soon afterward, word reaches King Rexson of a cabal of sorcerers plotting an imminent campaign of destruction and terror in the northern reaches of the kingdom.

A sorcerer himself, Vane infiltrates the conspiracy, but he is unprepared for the secrets he’ll uncover–possible betrayal and cover-ups from the heart of the royal family he loves. Unsure what to believe and whom to trust, Vane gathers allies from home and abroad. The king summons his army to fight with Vane, and sorcerer Evant Linstrom prepares to make a run for the throne in imitation of his ancestor, the notorious villain Hansrelto.

Meanwhile, the king’s youngest son may be falling in love with the daughter of the exiled Kora Porteg, the crown prince is having an identity crisis, and the only thing Vane can be certain of is that, if he survives this adventure, everything will be different going forward.

Come along for the final installment of the Herezoth trilogy as tensions soar, friendships are tested, the stakes are raised, one era closes, and another begins.
