I just wanted to clarify that as I went to set the price of “The Magic Council to 99 cents for the kindle version, KDP would not let me do this for the 70% royalty option. That is only possible for the 35% royalty option.

I had planned to set the kindle version to 99 cents for a day or two upon launch, but unfortunately, the sale price will have to be $2.99 given the parameters set by KDP. That’s as low as I can go under 70%.

The price will be going up after launch, so $2.99 IS a sale price, just not as low as I had hoped to set it. I apologize for the confusion and inconvenience of this!

I would have to select a 35% royalty option to set the price for 99 cents, which I really can’t justify doing, given what I have poured into this book emotionally, time-wise, and especially financially. Especially when I consider that I am giving book one away that day and will not NO royalties on any download of that.

I didn’t realize my lowest price point would be pre-determined at $2.99 at 70% royalty option.

Please remember to always, always check the price point of everything before making any purchase, anywhere! I am updating previous posts on the blog to reflect what the actual sale price will end up being on Thursday.
