I am thrilled to announce that The Magic Council: The Fight for Home is officially out of my hands and off to my publisher for proofreading and formatting.
It’s been a real and crazy journey these past years. I first wrote this novel 13 years ago, and it is my favorite of any I’ve yet written, personally. I love them all, of course. But Vane and August’s relationship is something special, and the themes of this particular installment are dear to my heart (and I hope, needed and wanted and waiting for an audience desperate for truth, reality, and normalcy.)
The changes made between first and second edition of the book do SO much heavy lifting, I am kind of astounded. They are amazing–especially with the way they influence tone.
I am hoping for a summer release, and have revealed the cover on Facebook, so make sure you drop over there. (I will reveal it here soon).
In the meantime, I’m resting up a bit after that push to get the manuscript fixed up after my editor touched it and ready for the publisher. Take it easy, guys!
