In a lot of ways, the hardest part of the journey of “The Magic Council: The Fight for Home” awaits me next January when the manuscript returns from my editor. But I’m excited for next year and to get this book out there.
Will have to intentionally enjoy the journey and live the journey each step of the way until a summer release.
This book has so much to offer in terms of an inspiring story that’s deeper that the surface-level plot (it shares that with book one).
I love the main coming-of-age couple so much. Vane and August are amazing. I’m not sure where they came from . . . Vane’s an introvert and a melancholic at that, like me. And August tends to lack confidence and be a bit awkward, like me. So I guess that makes sense in its way. They’re perfect for each other, and I have loved watching them grow together. I can’t wait for other people to get to know them too.
I’ve said before that I think book two is my favorite of the series, with the prequel at this point. So I’m really excited for next year and next summer. It’s going to be amazing!
