As I write this on November 30, it’s been quite a week since Sunday! Here’s just a recap of all that’s happened:

• I reached out to a local book store, Octavia Books, about getting book one on the shelves and possibly doing a book signing next year
• I sent book two off to my editor
• I made a fabulous editing decision in book three to combine two minor characters
• I made three sales
• I figured out how to use Amazon ads more effectively
• I hit a 200 day streak on the blog here

That’s quite a list for one week! Some items are more major than others, but all represent progress, and things are so hard as an indie author that I love celebrating the small victories.

Did Amazon take down a review this week? Yes. Am I tired? Yes. Am I nervous about hearing back from the bookstore? Yes. But all of those bullet points are awesome and worth celebrating. Yea!!!

This has been a milestone week for sure. I’m very grateful, and can’t wait for what’s to come. Onward and upward!
