Today, I am thankful for the community, support, encouragement, and friendship of my fellow authors, especially indie authors.

I’ll admit I sometimes feel like a fish out of water running my Facebook page. I take my Catholic faith very seriously, I consider my art to be as much my mission in life as (currently) a second job, I refuse to read or write sex scenes, and my outlook is not particularly common among the artistic set.

Yet we are able to commiserate and laugh together about the insanity of the industry and how hard it is to grab a new reader. We care about each other as PEOPLE, and I love that.

These folks help take the edge off rough days. The understand the struggle of creating and marketing art. In a very sincere way, we are all in this together, trying to pull each other up, and I love that.
