My editor isn’t scheduled to start working on “The Magic Council: The Fight for Home” until December 1, but I’m so happy to announced that I’m going to be sending the manuscript to her this weekend.
It’s as good as I’m going to get it, and I need to get it out of my hands before I keep wasting more time working on it before she makes what changes and suggestions she’s going to make.
I’m a bit terrified to think how this is going to go, and I really hope she likes it, because she’s not the same person who edited book one (though she is reading book one right now). But I’m also super excited. It’s going to be great!
I just have to get a proofreader lined up for Mid-February. Per scheduled, I’ll get the manuscript back Jan 10, which will give me a good month to go through it and make and accept changes based on the editor’s feedback if I have a proofreader lined up for February 15 (or there about).
That’s next on the to-do list!
