This post is a bit of an update. I’m exhausted in general these days. My editor can’t take book two until December 1, and it’s already in good shape.

I’m tempted to let it sit until she can take it, but I know it’s worth it to get it in as good shape as possible before I send it to her.

The more repeated words I change or cut, the more issues I resolve, the less SHE will have to distract her as she goes through the book.

So I’m definitely going to try to keep going with keyword searches for phrases and words I know I use too much and pare down. That’s absolutely worth doing. If I need a bit of a break, I can take it when the manuscript is in her hands . . . though book three needs quite a book of work as well.
