“The Magic Council: The Fight for Home” is back from my beta reader, and I could not be more excited.

I had beta readers for the first edition years ago, but I figured some fresh eyes after my changes, before sending to my editor, would be useful.

And boy, were they! I got great comments about what I could add and how I could make the start of the story more easily understandable.

My beta reader suggested I add a prologue, and I loved the idea, and as soon as she suggested that, I knew exactly what the scene should be. So I’ve drafted a prologue, and it’s so sweet i just love it.

I still need to finish going through comments from my beta reader and then go through the manuscript one more time, and then I believe I will be ready for my editor, so I’ll have to reach out to her!

Yea!!! Real progress. I’m so excited. I’ve mentioned before that book II might just be my favorite. 🙂
