Truly, the story is so much deeper than many would expect, and yet it’s an easy read (once you know the characters) that keeps readers engaged with the action–so reviews say. I think it has a LOT to offer in terms of challenging the toxic views of Western culture that pervade us. It’s just a wholesome, yet gritty, engaging story that doesn’t sugarcoat the challenges of life–especially the moral ones.
